In order to manage settings for your archives, navigate to Theme Options -> Archive Templates. Please note that these options will apply globally to all archive pages, such as category, tag, author, search results and any other archive you may use on your website.
Manage archive templates separately
Since Typology version 1.5, we have added the options to manage some of the archive templates separately, as described in the image below. All archive templates will “inherit” the global settings by default, but, by clicking Customize you can specify a different layout for your categories, tags, or author archives, etc…
