Besides standard WordPress widgets, Knowledge Guru Theme provides several custom-made widgets. Custom widgets are added via our import plugin.
To manage widgets, go to Appearance -> Widgets as shown in the image below.
- Meks Easy Ads Widget – a great solution if you are using image advertisements on your website.
- Meks Smart Social Widget – you can use this widget to display social icons.
- Meks Smart Author Widget – use this widget to display your user/author profile info.
- Meks Easy Instagram Widget – you can use this widget to display your Instagram photos.
Knowledge Guru also comes with some specific widgets, related to the knowledge base niche:
- Knowledge base articles – This widget displays articles from a specific knowledge base or manually picked articles. You can sort articles alphabetically, by date or number of comments.
- Knowledge base categories – You can display knowledge base categories with this widget. You can display all of them by default, or manually pick categories that you would like to show inside the widget.
- Knowledge base posts – This widget works on the same principle as Knowledge base articles, but it displays your standard blog posts.
