In version 4.4, WordPress added a cool feature to automatically handle responsive images. Basically, scrset attributes are added to each image so browsers can decide what image size to apply based on specific device resolution. While this should be useful in most cases, here is a quick way to disable srcset feature if you are facing any issues after updating your website to WP 4.4.
Just paste this simple snippet in your theme functions.php file and your images will be working as in WP 4.3 and before.
