Our main goal is to help our users build, setup, and grow their WordPress website. 

A perfect article should:

  • Be at least 800 words long
  • Be checked for spelling & grammar errors
  • Be readable by Grade 6 and below – http://www.hemingwayapp.com/
  • Include relevant images (min. 720px wide) & links to their sources
  • Include internal links to other content on our website
  • Have no affiliate links

We are looking for:

  • Topics not covered by our blog before
  • Topics relevant and useful for WordPress users and technically oriented audience
  • Original content never published elsewhere
  • Content that does not violate copyright laws

Types of Content

​To give you an idea of what types of content you can create for the Meks blog, we have put together a quick list :

  • Case Study – provide a detailed examination of a relevant case
  • Interview – ask an industry expert (or up-and-comer) a series of questions around a relevant topic
  • Expert Roundup – ask several industry experts an interesting question
  • Link/Resource Guide – pick a topic and create a guide, but instead of going in-depth, provide links to proper resources
  • List Posts – the most popular type of post
  • How-to or Ultimate Guide – show the audience how to accomplish a certain task

What you get

You get to include a link to your website in the article author biography box – only one non-keyword-optimized link allowed. The URL should be pointed to a website related to WordPress, marketing, design or it can be your portfolio URL.
