Theme options panel

The Opinion theme comes with a comprehensive options panel, divided into logical sections. In the list below, you can find a short description for each particular section just to have a quick overview of the usage. Almost every option is described in the theme options panel itself.

Colors

These are options to personalize the theme by defining your colors. You can use a simple “one color” mode, or an advanced mode to define all of the website colors.

Header

These are options to manage and style your header area. Change the header layout, enable top bar and sticky header, etc…

Sidebar

This is the sidebar generator panel with which you can easily create any number of additional sidebars.

Footer

These are options to manage and style your footer area. Define footer layout, number of widget columns, or change copyright text.

Post Layouts

Options to manage the appearance of all main post listing layouts which you can later connect to various templates across the website. Each particular layout has its own subsection with specific display options.

Single Post

Options to manage the default layout and appearance of your single post template.

Page

Options to manage the default layout appearance of your pages.

Category Template

Options to manage the default layout and appearance of your category archives template.

Archive Templates

Options for other miscellaneous archives on the website, such as tag archive, date archive, default blog (latest posts), etc…

Typography

Here you can manage your fonts and fine-tune all font sizes.

Ads

Options to manage predefined ad slots.

Misc.

Inside this section, you will find a set of additional minor options you may want to enable/disable.

Translation

Easy to use translation panel. Here you can quickly change or translate all text strings which are displayed on the website front-end.

Performance

Increase your website speed as well as save your server resources with these options.

Additional Code

For advanced users, here you can paste additional JavaScript code to modify default theme styling.

Import/Export

A nice tool that enables you to save and backup all your theme options. It can be very useful if you want to copy and import all your options to another site which is using the same theme, i.e when moving your site from localhost to the live server.
