If you went through the theme setup wizard, recommended plugins would be already installed and activated. However, here is an alternative way to install the plugins and a basic usage description.
AWSM plugins are not required but we warmly recommend to use them if you want to make the most of the theme features.
All the plugins are hosted on the official WordPress repository, which means they are 100% free and you can use it in any other theme as well. You can go to Appearance -> AWSM Plugins to install and activate recommended plugins with a single click.

Contact form 7
This plugin is one of the most popular and easiest to use WordPress contact plugins. You can use it to create simple or complex contact forms with many powerful settings and features.
This is the official plugin made by Envato (ThemeForest) and its main purpose is to connect your website with your ThemeForest profile. Once you go through the authorization process you will be able to update our theme with a single click with every new version release.
Force regenerate thumbnails
This plugin will help you a lot when you switch to a new WordPress theme on a website which already has some images uploaded. It is commonly used when you switch the themes. You just need to run this plugin once and it will (re)generate all your uploaded image sizes to match your new theme layout. That way your theme will use proper and optimized image sizes and will improve website performance significantly.
