Although the main purpose of the Pinhole theme is to showcase your photos and galleries, you can, of course, use a native WordPress blog functionality, depending on your needs.
There are two sets of simple options provided once you go to Theme Options -> Blog.
- Archive templates – which applies to all the pages where you list your posts, like the main blog page, category archives, tag archives, etc…
- Single post – which applies to your single post template view
Setting the main blog page
All right, this is the default WordPress functionality, but just in case you are not familiar with it, here is an explanation of how to set up a page as your main blog (index) page. Once you create a page and for example name it “Blog“, you just need to go to Settings -> Reading and set it as your “posts page“.
